At this point in time, aspects (i.e protests & general social media) of the Black Lives Matter movement have died down heavily. However, the issues and injustices that were addressed before are still relevant, and will continue to be relevant today, tomorrow, and forever. It is of critical importance that we talk about these injustices with younger people of all cultural backgrounds, continually addressing and condemning commonly-held stereotypes and other micro-aggressions. ... As an organization dedicated to building a culturally inclusive global community, C-CAMP fully embraces and stands in solidarity with all members of the Black community. We are committed to ensuring racial equity and support to all those disadvantaged, and vow to use our place on the Cornell campus to continually educate on and promote racial justice. As part of these efforts, we have compiled resources from Cornell, Ithaca, and the nation to help inform others and support the movement.
