As we begin our Lenten journey, we find Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane in great distress and deep prayer. Jesus does ask for this test to pass, yet submits to God’s will. Can we do the same in our current situation? Jesus shows us the better way.

This week, we use Jesus’ healing of Peter’s mother-in-law to start our exploration of healing and Jesus’ power to heal anyone, anywhere; healing the body and soul due to his connection with the Creator God. Where have you experienced Jesus’ power to heal? Please comment.

Welcome to this, our worship service for the Third Sunday in Advent, December 13th. As we focus on finding joy in the midst of darkness and despair, we pray that you will find a bit more joy in your life through our worship this day.

Please join us as we worship God who brought us Jesus as a little baby so long ago. He came to save us from our sins.
