The ponding or pooling of water can cause damage over time, especially as the water freezes and thaws. When there are areas of standing water on the roof of your structure, they need to be corrected immediately.

You can add an additional layer of protection to your roof by requesting an elastomeric coating that is treated to guard against the sun’s ultraviolet radiation and the damage it can cause.

PVC material is considered to be the longest lasting of the flat roofs. Because of the heat-welded seams, PVC remains flexible throughout its lifetime and it can withstand thermal movement and can last well over 30 years!

If you experience weather extremes, you know wind and hail can cause extensive roof damage. After a significant weather event, have your roof checked for damage, and have loose or lost shingles replaced immediately.
