We’ve written a lot about French films for adults, but this our first article about movies for kids! Of course, you can watch any of your favorite Disney cartoons in French, or even dubbed versions of classics like Mary Poppins. But we also recommend watching the classic French kids movies below, no matter your age!

We’re super excited to launch Le Petit Coucou this September, since we’ll finally be offering online French classes for children and teens. In preparation for the launch, we asked some of our teachers to share their favorite French children’s books with us, and below are the results! You’ll find a few older classics like Le Petit Prince and Le Petit Nicolas, as well as lesser-known titles and recent releases. But this wasn’t the only revolution to transform the social and political landscape of France. Coucou stands in full support of the protesters fighting for racial justice on the streets of the US. This week’s events are resonating in France in a major way and are leading the French to do some much-needed soul searching of their own. We put together a list of resources in French on this topic for our students. We will donate part of our proceeds for June to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, ACLU and other organizations working on the frontlines of this fight.
