As the famous Dr. Benjamin Spock said, the key to parenting is trusting yourself. And, if you find yourself wavering in the trust, I'm here to help. As a parent coach, I am trained to provide tips and tools to help parents connect with their children. As a LCSW, I have the education to help parents understand why their children behave the way they do. As a parent, I can relate to the hard times of child-rearing and provide empathy where it’s needed. All of this experience and education provide me with the insight and understanding to help you have a more positive experience raising your children.

You are your child’s first and most influential teacher. While learning to be flexible and adaptable to your ever-changing child, you are also developing skills to guide and encourage your child as he grows. This is what parenting young children is all about and having a parent coach can help guide you into making parenting more positive for your entire family. Parenting young children is a major challenge; but it is a challenge filled with opportunities for both parents and children to experience many joys and satisfactions.

We live in a time where moms and dads work more than ever, social media is replacing interactions and technology has become our babysitter. It’s no wonder parents feel so overwhelmed. It’s easy to compare ourselves to our friends and question who we think we should be as parents, to lose sight of our place as parents, or forget the wonders our children have to offer. There is tremendous value in talking through your feelings with a professional who has the knowledge and skills to understand what you are going through and the experience to reconnect you with your role as a parent.
