The students in Mrs. DiNorcia’s and Ms. Fisher’s class have been exploring nonfiction texts during Readers Workshop. Today they were able to explore a variety of texts (informational, how-to, biographies) to deepen their understanding of nonfiction topics. When they found an interesting fact, they marked their pages with sticky notes. Then they organized their interesting facts onto a research note-taking graphic organizer. The students had a lot of fun learning facts and sharing them with their classmates. We love reading nonfiction books!!
