We are taking some time today to remember the devastation that Hurricane Sandy unleashed 8 years ago, but also the community of volunteers that came together to help us recover and rebuild. Many of us have powerful memories of the weeks following Sandy, working long days without heat or electricity, ripping out dry wall, sanding down furniture, and de-greasing tchotchkes. Yeehaw, pardners! We’re OPEN for indoor dining, at 25% capacity! With this exciting update comes some changes in procedure, as mandated by the state. Starting yesterday (9/30), we must take the temperature of everyone who comes inside the restaurant, even if you’re just coming in to use the bathroom. Additionally, by state law customers can no longer order at the bar, even for pickup. With our new contactless ordering system, all pickup (food and drinks) will take place at the front table. We will continue to have outdoor seating, and have ordered some heaters so we can keep this going through the winter!
