Here's some good news to welcome in the new year. Today is the SCNCC Ecosocialist Solstice artists showcase. I am blown away by the talent of these poets, singer/songwriters, performers, and artists. Do join us if you can. You will be uplifted! With Katherine Aelias Band, Wrexie Bardaglio, Janet Burgan, Asha Canalos, Kimberlyn David, John Foran, Kim Fraczek, Ted Franklin, Will Fudeman, Rafael Jesús González, Ben Grosscup, Louise A. Hammonds, Sam Husseini, colleen kattau, Hanna Leigh, Bonnie Lockhart, Synnika Alek-Chizoba Lofton, David Rovics, Nichole Spain, Lisa Ann Wright, and, from Baghdad, the Iraqi painter Muayad Muhsin, whose works have been shown in the USA only twice since the 2003 invasion--once in Ithaca, in 2005. (This in itself is an unprecedented opportunity.)

Some of our friends, including the incomparable Kim Fraczek of Sane Energy Project, are being featured in this live Zoom event tomorrow! Register and get a seat! Or watch live on Fb (Zoom is always more immediate and intimate). Lots of great artists, including some from our own CPNY and other allied groups, will be featured -- music, poetry, beats, visual arts, and more.
