Happy Almost New Year, Crafty Friends! We’re finally getting around to emptying the shop, and I want to give everyone a heads up: we’ll be posting some products... on this page to sell off inventory. Any purchases will be porch pickup (in North Chili). We will take cash or Venmo for these transactions. ***UPDATE: We have the best friends on the planet! One of them surprised us by packing up the store in anticipation of our move. I’m not undoing all that work..., so we will not be open this weekend. Stay tuned - we’ll be doing Facebook Marketplace sales all winter!*** First Congregational Church of Riga (where we are housed) is having a rummage sale Friday and Saturday this week. Sale hours: Friday 11/20, 3:00-7:00 Saturday 11/21, 9:00-2:00 Note that Friday is considered a preview day, so there is a $5 deposit taken at the door that will be applied toward your purchase at the church sale. Masks are absolutely required, and the church team will be controlling how many humans are in the building at once. Questions? Comment below, or message Crafting for Good.

Crafting for Good is closing for the winter! 50% off everything in the store Free books Thursday Oct 1, 5-8:30... Saturday Oct 3, 10-2 No, we’re not closing for good - this isn’t a going out of business sale. We still think Crafting for Good is a good idea. We’ve supported FoodLink and SWEM and assorted individual projects, we’ve diverted a LOT of stuff from landfills, and we’ve saved our customers a TON of money! But, it’s our experience that our already slow traffic will come to a crawl over the winter, and with current conditions being what they are, we’re going to shut down for a bit and rethink, refocus and perhaps relocate. If you’ve enjoyed having our shop around and would like to see us again, we’ll need your continued support. Here’s what you can do: 1-Share the heck out of this post. We don’t want to have to store a lot of stuff, and the more we can sell this weekend, the better. Please tell your friends. Better yet - bring them in! 2-Keep an eye out for our next location. We’re beyond grateful to the First Congregational Church of Riga for their generosity in making room for us! (Be sure to like and follow their page - you don’t want to miss their events, especially turkey dinners!!). That said, we’re pretty sure we’re going to need a location that isn’t quite so rural to succeed. If you find a storefront location on the cheap - seriously - cheap!, please let us know. We’ll need store space and classroom space, and a restroom. Did we mention cheap? We’re a non-profit with the goal of financially supporting food and clean water; spending a lot of money on rent defeats that purpose. 3-Keep an eye on this page while we’re closed. We’re thinking we’ll keep our etsy shop open, and perhaps find a way to do a couple of virtual classes. If we end up spending a lot of time at home again this winter, wouldn’t it be nice to learn a new skill to keep busy? Our facebook page will be the first place we post sales and events.
