Mrs. Rightmyer's 5th-grade class culminated a unit about pioneers with a day immersed in life on the frontier. Many of them clad in cowboy hats, boots and aprons, students made their own butter, built covered wagons and played games such as "Simon Says" that date back to pioneer times.

How wonderful to hear the sounds of music in the Golding auditorium again during weekly orchestra lessons for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students.

Here at C-R, we our bus drivers! This past Friday, to celebrate Bus Driver Appreciation Week, Ryder students showed their gratitude for our hard-working transportation team with a bus parade. Thank you, bus drivers, for all you do!

One winter sight that never gets old: students sledding down the hill outside Ryder Elementary!

The staff at Ryder Elementary school would like to wish all of our students and families the happiest of holidays!

Earlier this week, Ryder students received a holiday surprise from a few of Santa's helpers (Mrs. Westfall and Mrs. Dostie): milk and cookies to enjoy during their lunch time!
