This award is for students and/or young fellows who are working hard to contribute their time for helping people in need in the community. Natsuko was nominated because she has started volunteering at JASSI before starting her Internship in the Fall Semester. SEEKING PARTICIPANTS FOR A RESEARCH STUDY TITLE CUNY COVID-19 Well-Being Study... PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the well-being of students/faculty/staff at colleges. ELIGIBILITY To be eligible, participants must have been a student enrolled at the College of Staten Island (CSI), York College or Lehman College on March 11th, 2020 OR a faculty or staff member employed at CSI, York College or Lehman College on March 11th, 2020; and aged 18 years and older INVOLVEMENT Participate in an online survey which will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Kari Meyer came to the College of Staten Island in 2010 after 5 years of working in child welfare. She is currently a Field Director for both the BSSW and MSW programs at the college. Additionally, Professor Meyer is a lecturer in the BSSW program working specifically in the policy sequence. For the Social Work Department, Professor Meyer places students in their internships. She also helps to prepare the undergraduate students for their upcoming, graduate studies. Kari Meyer... is able to provide job postings to both current and recent graduates from the College of Staten Island. When she’s not on campus, Kari Meyer can be found spending quality time with her two young children, Jakob and Madelyn.
