Columbia Legal Technology Association 01.02.2021

Deadline - February 7th The Columbia Pre-Law Society and the Athena Pre-Law Society invite all members of the LegalTech Society to the 8th year of our undergraduate mentoring program in partnership with Columbia Law School. Each year we have grown in applications and mentor sign-ups, and we are excited for this year to be our best yet! In order to make this program as productive as possible for both mentors and mentees, we are going to provide several different types of progr...amming. There are two events for both mentors and mentees that you would love you to attend as they are mandatory for the undergraduates. The events are not mandatory for mentors. The dates are as follows (and dinner will be provided): Meet and Greet: February 20th, 2020 (James Room, 4th Floor of Barnard Hall) Networking Dinner: March 28th, 2020 (James Room) ****The date of the second event is subject to change as APLS is aware of the annual Barristers Ball. We will do our best to move the event to the first week of April**** In addition to these events, we suggest that mentors meet with their mentees one on one to get the most out of their relationship, with activities such as giving an informal tour of the law school and inviting mentees to sit in on a lecture law class. If you are unable to commit to these aspects of the mentorship, then we are happy to accommodate you and ask an available mentor to take on a small group of students so that all mentees get a chance to participate.
