We are taking additional measures to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff including: 1. As Always treatment rooms and tables will be cleaned and sanitized between each patient 2. Patients may opt to wait in a personal vehicle or outside our office where they can be contacted ...by mobile phone when it is their turn to be treated. 3. Instructing patients to reschedule their appointment and contact their primary care physician if they develop symptoms of a respiratory infection including fever 100.4 degrees or higher, body aches, and fatigue. 4. We have hand sanitizer available at the front desk. What You Can Do Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand cleaner. (Soap and water are more effective) for 20 seconds Cleaning surfaces in your home with disinfecting products Per the WHO Maintain appropriate social distancing, at least 1 meter (3-6 feet) distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Follow good respiratory hygiene. Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of the used tissue immediately. Clean surfaces with disinfectant. Avoid unprotected contact with farm or wild animals. If you feel unwell, stay at home. - If you develop fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical advice promptly as this may be due to a respiratory infection or other serious condition. Stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19. Follow advice given by your healthcare provider, your national and local public health authority on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19. According to WHO, the following measures are NOT effective Smoking Wearing surgical masks. Surgical masks can't block airborne viruses. N95 respirator masks can block airborne viruses from getting into your mouth or trap viruses from your body to prevent them from spreading into the air -- but you shouldn't use one unless you think you've been infected by or are showing symptoms Taking self-medication such as antibiotics. Antibiotics do not work against viruses
