BLSA invites you to join us for the Lest We Forget (LWF) Slavery Traveling Exhibition and Lecture. This astounding collection provides us all with an opportunity to examine aspects of the African Slave Trade, Emancipation, and Jim Crow era artifacts. The extraordinary LWF objects sheds light on a significant period in American history and provides an appreciation for the enduring strength and spirit of African Americans and the contributions their ancestors made in the Buil...ding of America. The exhibit will be open starting at 3pm outside the auditorium and remain open till the end of the reception. A two hour lecture focusing on the history of oppression staring from the slave trade to now will begin at 5:30pm in the auditorium. Reception to follow.
