Vegan Pastrami.... plant based. This is the vegetable it's made from, and the dirt it's grown in. But what is it, you ask??? Celeriac is a root vegetable in the celery family. It takes at least 120 days to grow from seed to maturity, and can be stored throughout the winter months. This particular celeriac was seeded at Wyllie Fox Farm in March of 2020, and is JUST getting ready to be harvested. We will be using celeriac from this farm for many months to follow!!... Counter Service Food Prep Management... Cure is an exciting mashup of an upscale NY Deli with an Upstate NY twist, in the Westcott Neighborhood of Syracuse. While the focus will be housemade pastrami, sandwiches and soups, Cure will also houses a small, well curated provisions market and will be returning to it's pre-pandmenic model of with ready to eat, and heat and eat meals in a few months. All food items are scratch made on site. We pride ourselves in providing upscale yet accessible meats, cheeses, sandwiches and meals for the Syracuse community! All employees will be crossed trained, and work as a team in all departments of the Deli. This is a customer facing food service establishment, so customer service, and excellence in food preparation are key to success at Cure. Experience in food service is a plus, but we are willing to train people who are a great fit for this team.
