It's Israel's 72nd year of existence - happy birthday to the heart and soul of the Jewish people! We thought it would be a great time to let you know what Da'at has been up to recently. We've been using this time to regroup and refocus on personal development and community contribution. What does that mean? We've been hard at work putting the finishing touches to our brand new website, on a video clip and on planning for the upcoming months. ... We've also been connecting with our educators and guides who are the foundation of Da'at’s programs but who are not able to share their love and passion for Israel and the Jewish world in person at the moment. And, most importantly, we've taken advantage of the time and opportunity to engage in volunteering. Last week, we picked vegetables for the needy with Leket Israel, the leading food rescue organization in Israel. It was great to do something meaningful - and to get out into nature while maintaining social distancing. . Happy Independence Day from all of us in Israel!
