I have been doing arm lock style now for over 10 years. I think its worth a try for EVERYONE.
Todd buddy Steve Brown made great changes on the left pics. Right hand more in fingers and on top. Left for flared out with less knee flex at address. Much improved follow thru!!!
PW and Hybrid testing today. I love the new apex hybrid!!!
Todd going crazy with the good changes. Must see the Bridgestone on the top hand grip. Close the shoulders at address. Swing AROUND the body instead of up!!!!
Good post today by Johnathon Yarwood today about the forgiveness of hitting off mats and possibly practicing fat shots unknowingly. I utilized his drill swing t...o prevent fat. In addition the orange material just in back of the ball would expose the fat shot unless it is property missed. In this video I also experimented with different ball positions but realize that moving the ball around also affects the path and angle of attack. Middle ball position encourages nuetral path and hitting down about 4 degrees for me. Ball back encourages a path about 4 degrees from inside and hitting down about 6 degrees for me. Ball forward encourages a path of about 5 degrees from the outside and hitting down only a couple of degrees for me. The key with irons is to hit the little ball first and not the big ball ( earth ) first!!!! See more
From 9 to 2 today it will be all anti left.... putting, two hour round at Premier, 2 lessons after who both tend to go left. One is righty and 1 is lefty. NO LEFT. ALWAYS DRIFT TO THE RIGHT!!!!!
Playing is part of training.....
Old grip versus new stronger grip. Then the improvements in the left pics. Square or closed shoulders and closer to the ball. Then better follow thru. If you... look at the Trackman pics you can now see the draw versus the fade. Hinge is good. Extra knee flex to the tender back is good. New clubs are great! Dawn Petit has to hit balls starting with short clubs for a few minutes every day in the garage to make better contact. The top hand drove grip NEEDS to continue to show the F J. See more
Lesson at three different studios today. Biggest improvements were standing further away with putting to stop taking it back outside and solidified the better takeaway on full swing with some Justin Thomas drills... although there is a learning curve with the driver
A little tin cupish but having some fun with some training aides. More important than the aides was the wider stance, slower backswing and posture with stoped the weight from going to outside of right foot!!!
Old new old new. Grip and more upright all that was needed today. Great swing!!!
Sand wedge work. I am excited about being able to add one more club to my bag this season
Fade draw straight. Nicer place than my garage btw
Averages.........Fade 152 yards. Path 6 left, face closed to target but open to path. Angle of attack 5 down. Height 90 feet. Draw 162 yards. Path 6 right, face open to target but closed to path. Angle of attack 3 down. Height 84 feet. Normal results but nice to be verified by FlightScope in earlier post
Fade versus draw. Club face starts it, path bends it.
