Dance Therapy Courses

I am touched by my colleagues comments. Book, Profiles of Second Generation Dance/Movement Therapists. will be sold at the ADTA confernece in Bethesda MD, Oct. 19 -23. Companion DVD album, is almost finished and will be sold at our ADTA conference as well.

June Dance Therapy Intensive is the 1st - 12th. Email [email protected] for our flyer, application, reading list and course outline. You will use yourself as the instrument of learning Chace theory, group process and movement analysis.

Dance Therapy Courses is accepting applications for our 10 day Winter Intensive; December 27 - January 6. Participants will experience and integrate dance therapy theory and skills, group process in dance therapy, and movement analysis. This course is approved by the ADTA and will satisfy 4 credit hours or 60 contact hours toward the Alternate Route credential. Email Linni Deihl, ([email protected]) for a flyer and application. Our studio is in Westhampton Beach, LI, 1 & 1/2 hours east of NYC and housing is at a Hamptons Bed and Breakfast within walking distance to the studio.

The Winter Intensive, December 27 - January 6 is filling up. We do have power now and look forward to a good group gathering in a warm studio.

Dance Therapy conference in New Mexico was fabulous! Intro students reminded me how rich our profession is.....and the "Profiles Panel" was very exciting this year. Thanks to New Mexico for adding those gorgeous mountains and we even saw the hot air balloons with their magnificent colors. Managed to balance group time with alone and intimate time....grace at the heated pool and hot tub.
