We are really excited to announce the winners of our August weekend giveaway! There were over 400 nurses, doctors, and healthcare workers nominated, each with their own incredible stories on how they are fighting covid-19. The stories are truly mind-blowing. We are both saddened at the intense stress, grief, and pain that this virus has caused, and incredibly inspired by the heroic actions that our healthcare workers are taking on a daily basis to fight it. It is so hard to ...put in words how grateful we are to these heroes. Each and every one of you deserve your own beach get away in the summer time. Although we cannot give away August weekends and restaurant give aways to everyone that was nominated, all of the stories on this post did inspire us to do more than we originally planned. We are going to give away a 50 dollar gift certificate to every one of the 400 heroes nominated on this post. We are going to give away an additional three 2 night stays mid week in September and we are going to give away TEN additional free 2 night stays in the off-season. The total room value for all of this is 25,000. Although for our small family business this is a very large amount, we know that there would be no business at all without our health care heroes, and we hope that this will inspire other businesses to donate more to show all of you how much we appreciate you. The winners of these gifts will find messages in their DMs in the next 24 hours to let them know.
