Well like to say hi to everyone , up too Lake Ontario catching some king salmon me and bob. We didn’t get any slammers but had a great time as usual.
Made a trip to Lake Ontario today with my buddy bob, slow day landed 3 browns and lost a king. We trolled 10 hours and still better than work. Tight lines until next post
Well first time I got to turkey hunt in the last 3 years or so and what a morning, saw 8 birds and 8 deer, 4 of the deer had knobs on there heads and were bucks and one partridge came within 5 feet of me to say good morning
Hi everyone , I did pass on a few smaller bucks this season and I finally settled for this one. 170 lbs 8 pointer. Hope everyone had a great hunting season. As we speak it’s getting colder and lakes will be freezing soon and then ice fishing soon. Merry Christmas too everyone
Hi everyone, sorry it’s been so long since the last post. I did get out on Sacandaga 3-4 times this summer, and did notice walleye fishing was good but a lot of short fish but plentiful. Only caught a few trout they came hard the ones I did get. I spent sometime on Lake Ontario this past spring and summer. The spring trip was tough I thought I forgot how or lost my touch. I did get it figured out eventually and we caught a bunch of salmon. Ok everyone tight lines until next time.
Beautiful place!!
Hi everyone, was out to Watkins glen to a fishing flea market over the weekend. And boy did they have tons of tackle. I found some Sutton spoons that I have been looking for , forever and there was plenty of everything. Never can have enough rods and reels and I think I have a obsession with Diawa sealine reels. Own over 100 of them. Saw a few old friends and you name it they had it. Next year I will return there. Well as we are speaking in a couple of weeks I will be getting the boat out and maybe my first trip will be to Lake Ontario to do some spring brown fishing. Well everyone tight lines until next time
Was out to Brewster fire department yesterday with a couple of friends at a fishing flea market! And boy did we fill the truck with fishing eguipment. Spring is just around the corner and you can never have enough pole reels and tackle
Well, it looks like the lake is finally starting to straighten out! Don’t see the Shantys out there like I usually do but it looks like wheelers and utvs can go good. There is around 16 in of ice there telling me and still be careful around the pressure ridges. The walleye bite is on and off but my buddy ron smith did land a beauty yesterday. A few pike are starting to bite along with those big jack perch. Tight lines everyone and good luck fishing and hope to see you soon out there
Well I haven’t written in a while so I guess it’s time. We need some cold weather to get great Sacandaga lake froze up so we can ice fish. The northern lakes have some ice so almost everyone is heading north. Hunting season was tough but did manage to kill a 6 point in the adrondacks all by myself. You no your getting old when you have to drag them all by yourself. Well everyone take care and let’s pray for some cold weather so we can get out on great Sacandaga. Tight lines everyone and good luck and hope to see you on the ice this winter

I would like to say hi to my friends out there and let you know the walleye bite is still on. I took my son chase out yesterday and battled 20 mph winds and 3 foot waves but we did manage to land 24 walleyes in the rough water. They ranged from 13 1/2 in up to my biggest walleye 19 3/4 inches. We fished for around 4 hours and I made my buddy chase smile. The fish I was catching were in 30- 42 feet of water. Downriggers and leadcore seem to be working the best. Fish were suspended 27-32 down. Until next time !! Tight lines eveyone
I would just like to say hi to former customers and all my friends and let them know the fishing has turned on. I was out trolling yesterday and we boated 40 fish. Of course they were not all legal but fishing was great. It's nice to see several different age groups of the walleyes. The gslff is making an impact on the fish stocking. Trout fishing has been tough. We have picked up several pike and bass fishing is great also. I want to say thank you to Pete C and his two nephews that came all the way from Ohio to join me. Tight lines everyone
John Stuart on daves boat landed a beauty today. 40 plus inches
I would like to say hi to all my customers and friends. A little update to let you all know what's going on. I been doing a little fishing and walleyes have been running from 14- 18 range and there is plenty of them. Trout fishing is slow. Perch and pike have been bothering my Rapala's a little bit also. Downriggers have been the most productive and leadcore is working ok too. I haven't trolled many spinners harness yet. The bait fish are plentiful and starting to mark more and more fish every trip. So everyone tight lines and hope to see you all on the lake.
