Hi everyone, I was just doing a walk with some friends and noticed that Vernal Tutone was reblooming, one scape but still, it's an extra early. I have noticed this with a couple other plants as well.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that we have the Extra Early and Early blooms finished up, the Early Mids still going, the Mids coming up fast and the Mid Lates, even some Lates. Also if you come to visit, you will see weeds as I can't weed alot and take a chance on knocking off growing blooms in the Mother beds and/or sale beds. The beds are definitely at peak and pretty. I don't cut back after they bloom as it helps me to determine how many scapes and what plan...ts may move into the sale beds for next year. Also in the sale beds, I usually don't cut back as I leave the scapes for next year should I have to dig early for customers making their plans for the new season, it shows me the plant had a bloom and it is safe to dig those fans. This has been a great season so far, I have met so many new people and had fun explaining daylilies to them. I was already with a new catalog for printing and then the virus hit (printers are not essential). Thank you everyone. See more

Started blooming in sale bed 7/9 - Fire Cup (Pride, 1963) height 33 in.(84 cm), bloom 5.5 in.(14 cm), season M, Dormant, Diploid, Brilliant red self with green throat .
