Anyone with a free hand Friday night, we could use some help setting up at the fire station for our Fun Run / BBQ. Also still looking for donations for our basket of cheer. Thank you all!!

August 22nd, there will be a Four Wheeler and Side by Side FUN RUN and CHICKEN BBQ Registration will be from 9am - noon at the Degrasse Fire hall. Start & end of the fun run will also be at the Degrasse Vol Fire Department. ... Maps will be available that day $20 per PERSON. Chicken BBQ $12 per person. Starts serving @11:00 and curbside pickup will be available for those who need it. Tables will be set up for social distancing also. MENU: chicken, baked beans, salt potatoes, rolls, desserts. The May Raffle which was to be held at our annual spring fish fry for the 55 TV will be postponed due to the corona virus pandemic. We will reschedule this as soon as we are able, date TBD. Tickets sold will be held onto until raffle is drawn. There will be more time to purchase tickets also, once restrictions are lifted. Thanks for your support and understanding.

The brush burning ban will start March 16 and run through May 14. Campfires using charcoal or untreated wood are allowed. The DEC will post a Fire Danger Map rating forecast daily for the 2020 fire season and the NY Fishing, Hunting & Wildlife App, on DEC's website.
