As we look forward to 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic has given many the time to reflect on future plans. During this time, and after much thought and consideration, I have made the decision to retire a couple of years ahead of previous expectations. The time just seems right, and it’s my desire to spend more time with my children who live out west. My hope is for DMTC to remain a vital part of the Warrensburg community. I would like to reach out to anyone in the area that might ...want the opportunity to build on a successful and fulfilling retail business. With the existing clientele and prime location, someone who is passionate about owning an established artisan center could take DMTC to the next level, including adding a website and on-line sales. I would be happy to loan support and training to assist in helping a new owner reach that goal. It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision as I've enjoyed new and renewed relationships with artists and customers who are now my friends. With so much love and support from the community, I want to say how proud I have been to have brought local artwork into view for everyone to enjoy. I will truly miss it alI! In the event that the sale of the store is not consumated in the near future we will be closing our doors by the end of the year. I would like to offer my most sincere thanks to everyone who has helped DMTC become a success - including our patrons and artisans - but especially to Shep, Jane, Sue, Joy and of course Leica, our greeter, who has been adjusting to her new beginnings but clearly misses her fans and friends. It’s a perfect weekend for outdoor family fun. Our good friends JoAnn and Chuck at Star Farm Blueberries in Galway are open for business as our artisan center remains closed at this time. In the meantime, we’ll be stopping by the farm and hope to see you there!

On these nice late spring days, we hope everyone is getting out to enjoy the weather in our beautiful ADK Park. As the community of Warrensburg continues to re-open, DMTC will extend our closure for June as we reassess the safety for our clientele and visitors.
