From the battle to end segregation of the 1960s and 70s to the no nukes movement of the 1970s and 80s, PEOPLE have fought for what we know is right -- and forced our society to address far-reaching threats to our well-being. It's time to take to the streets once again -- this time to demand a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world where all living things can thrive. A world that we know is within our reach -- but only if we act now. Read more and let us know if you can join us: http://www.demandcleanpower.org/peoples-climate-mar/alerts/ I'll be there and I would love to meet you in person! Linda

America's coal power plants are the single biggest source of carbon pollution in the country -- they belch out more global warming pollution than all cars, trucks and airplanes combined. More carbon pollution leads to more climate chaos -- from record droughts and floods, to wildfires and super storms. Tell the EPA to put people before polluters and stand firm against Big Coal. http://bit.ly/1qL0BlZ
