Brought some leftover blooms home and arranged them for myself in my favorite McCoy compote vase. As you know all too well, 2020 (and still 2021) has disrupted the livelihoods of those of us who work in live events. All this talk of pivoting is exhausting and I’ve done what I can. I’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank those who have ordered single floral deliveries from us. It’s brought in some needed pin money but more importantly it’s help kept my spirits up.... It’s also made me privy to what an intimate gesture sending flowers can mean. To play a small role in the affection shown towards people and be the conduit of gratitude, love and comfort is a special thing. I take it seriously. I’ve been a witness to the love between two sisters, the affection sent to a girlfriend from her beau living abroad, uplifting a neighbor during the dark days of spring, mothers sending heartfelt wishes to their children and my favorite girlfriends sending girlfriends flowers for their milestone birthdays. Flowers make this life better. I will step it up as spring 2021 emerges because I do believe we will be celebrating happier days. Please keep us in mind when you want to spread the love.
