Breaking News: 12/2/2013 Che Gustavo Fring reported today in Los Tiemos.com that officials in the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia have accused the American NGO, Desert 180, of operating without a license. This accusation came about as the result of a scandal involving the use of a highly invasive species, "Devil's Root," by Desert 180 in the region of Cochabamba. Officials of Desert 180 could not be reached for comment.

Desert 180: AgroForestry for Nutrition 05.08.2020

Desert 180 Is Launched On Monday 12 November 2012, we celebrated the launch of Desert 180. Mr. Sari Dallal introduced our CEO, Dr. Darina Markozashvili, who provided an overview of Desert 180. Next, Mr. Dallal introduced Mr. Julio Amador, Vice President for Development, who reported on successfull funding efforts. Following his report, the President of the Board, Mr. Alex Redmon, joined Dr. Markozashvili for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. This was followed by a news conference with representatives of the media.
