Unfortunately, your beloved family pet doesn’t have the ability to tell you in words when they aren’t feeling well. If your pet has been acting strangely or demanding more attention than usual, it may be time to schedule a visit to the vet.

Hello to all of our clients and followers, The COVID craziness doesn't seem like it is ending anytime soon, so we wanted to remind you/update you of a few things: 1. We are still functioning via curbside service. All of our parking spaces are numbered, so when you arrive at the clinic, please call 315-446-1200 to check in. Whomever you are speaking to will ask for the parking spot number you are in, as well as your credit card information for payment. We are doing our best t...o keep our contact as limited as possible. 2. We do not save your credit card information unless we are explicitly asked to do so. We destroy any information as soon as your pet is checked out of the hospital. 3. All written prescriptions for outside retailers/pharmacies must be picked up from the clinic. Upon picking up your written prescriptions, you will need to sign a liability release form acknowledging the risk of purchasing medications from anyplace other than a Veterinarian. 4. No pet information (physical records, verbal authorization of records) will be released without a signed, written consent on record - this includes giving reference to rescues/shelters. Once you have a signed consent on your pet's medical record, you will not need to sign another one, unless there is change in who you want your information released to. 4a. If you have given us verbal authorization in the past, you will need to sign a release. 5. Our spays and neuters are booking into 2021. No, we aren't kidding. Thank you all for your patience and patronage.

Having a vet is not the same as having the RIGHT vet for the situation you face. That’s why you need a vet with the experience for your particular type of pet and capable of handling your situations. If you have an exotic pet, then you need an exotic pet vet who treats your type of pets.

Ferrets are intelligent and loving animals who bond well with their humans. Ferrets can be litter trained and love to sleep for 18-20 hours a day. Be sure to ferret-proof their living and playing areas as they enjoy stealing and hiding items, including their food. Because of this, they can also ingest dangerous items.
