THRILLED to share this exhibition featuring recent paper works by Nicole Eisenman, Lab Grant Resident 2018-2019! Read more about the exhibition in Somerset below & check out the link in our bio to purchase Incelesbian, a book featuring over 70 works created by Eisenman during the residency! Congratulations to @nicoleeisenman on another incredible exhibition! Wish we could be there!... #Repost @hauserwirth Nicole Eisenman's (@nicoleeisenman) series of paper pulp drawings currently on view in Somerset were created over the past two years at the renowned Brooklyn-based non-profit Dieu Donné (@dieudonnepaper) workshop. Combining elements of drawing, painting and sculpture, the works are arresting in color and form, with figures physically constructed in 3D alongside cartoon abstractions and text. Seemingly playful on the surface, Eisenman reveals worlds of nuanced thought and feeling on contemporary life. #NicoleEisenman’s exhibition ‘Where I Was, It Shall Be’ is on view @hauserwirthsomerset through 10 January 2021.
