Earlier this week, Dimension performed a complex reconfiguration of the plant's high-bay overhead cranes. The new crane arrangement swaps the locations of two 100-foot-span bridge cranes to increase materials handling efficiency. Two hired mobile rigs lifted a 35-ton capacity bridge into the plant's roof structure, while a 150-ton bridge crawled below the load. Here is a short time-lapse of the pick & walk.
