Today, which is the last day of the 2020 golf season we have decided to allow electric carts out on both sides. The course has dried up just enough. We ask anyone riding today to please be careful and follow all course markings.

The final day for the 2020 golf season will be Wednesday, November, 25th. It will be walking only for the remainder of the season. Call now to book your tee times!

Due to the extremely cold temperatures predicted, the golf course will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday Nov 18th. The course will re-open on Thursday Nov 19th at 9am.

We have scheduled the fall aeration for the following times. The front (North) nine will be closed Monday Oct 19 and the back (South) 9 will be closed on Wednesday Oct 21st. This is a tentative schedule based on the weather cooperating.

Starting Monday Nov 2nd, the golf course will be open daily from 9am to 4pm. Last 9 hole carts will be permitted at 3pm and 18 hole carts will be 1pm. Electric carts are once again being allowed out. Just remember with low overnight temperatures we may have lengthy frost delays in the morning.

Just a reminder that it will be walking only for this weekend and please understand that there is the possibility of rather lengthy frost delays on these cold mornings.

Dinsmore golf course is looking for someone who is interested in being a volunteer cart attendant on Tuesdays from 1pm till close. Individual must be 18 with a valid license. Golf privileges will be given. Please leave name and phone number at the pro shop in person or by phone at 845-889-4082

The golf course will re-open today at 9am and we will be allowing carts out on both sides.

The golf course will be closed today Friday Oct 30th, and will re-open on Saturday at 9am. There will be daily frost delays as well as no electric carts allowed out until at least Monday Nov 2nd. We recommend calling the pro shop and getting a cart status update on Monday.

Beginning Saturday Oct 31st, with the expected frosts that are predicted, the course will be opening at 9am. Anyone who had tee times on Saturday or Sunday before noon, they have been move forward approximately 1 hour. To check on your new time please call the pro shop at 845-889-4071. Just a reminder - The front nine will be closed today Oct 19th for aerating and the back nine will be closed Wednesday Oct 21st. Sanding of the greens will be occurring each day as we work to complete the project.

Due to limitations on social gatherings there will be no leagues permitted at Dinsmore for the time being. When sanctions are lifted we will reassess and provide information about resuming league play.

Dinsmore golf course is scheduled to re-open on Friday May 8th at 9:00am. Hours will be from 9:00am to 5:30pm weekdays and 8:00am to 5:30pm weekends/holidays. T...he following policies will be in effect. All golfers will require tee time reservations - No walkups Same day tee times will be permitted based on availability. Tee times can be made by calling the pro shop at 845-889-4071 starting Thursday May 7th at 9am. Fifteen minute tee times will be strictly enforced. Credit/Debit cards only - No cash/gift cards - No exceptions Reservation holder is responsible to pay for the entire group. Individual payments will not be accepted. Reservation holder is responsible to inform cashier about any discounted fee players (seniors,juniors,etc). Adjustments will NOT be made once payment is remitted. There will be no electric or pull carts available for rental. Face coverings will be required in pro shop and whenever social distancing cannot be practiced.

As of now (4/19) we are still considered a ‘nonessential business’ as per Governor Cuomo. While other privately owned courses have been permitted to open with r...estrictions, we have not been given the green light to reopen. As soon as we are told otherwise we will let everyone know. Golf courses are now closed through May 7th. State parks will continue to evaluate the situation and will announce when the courses will re-open.

UPDATE: For Monday, April, 6th the course will have electric carts available for all 18 holes. As per our COVID 19 precautions there will be one rider per cart. Please adhere to the ropes and signs that have been placed on the course.

As a safety precaution for the players and staff we have filled the holes with foamplease DO NOT touch the foam, it should be inside the hole completely.

The golf course is now accepting applications for cart attendants and maintenance persons, weekends will be required. The Mills-Norrie state park is also accepting applications for camping and marina. You can pick up applications at the regional HQ building at 9 old post road, staatsburg, ny 12580 or we can email one to you.

The golf course will be open on Thursday Nov 14th thru Sunday Nov 17th from 9am to 4pm, expect daily frost delays.

For today Tuesday Nov 5th the course will have electric carts out on BOTH sides. The back nine will not open until 10am.

UPDATE - The course is now open for Monday Nov 4th, however carts will only be out on the FRONT nine. The course will be closed on Thursday Nov 7th till 12 noon for maintenance

The golf course is currently in a frost delay. When we open there will be electric carts on at least the front nine, they may also be on the back 9 but that cannot be determined until the frost lifts and we can check out the back 9
