DASG Phillip Tomarchio received the FY21 1st QTR Civilian of the Quarter Award for DES. DASG Tomarchio’s attention to detail enabled him to identify twenty traffic violators for various offenses; detained four individuals for possession of a controlled substance; possession of a weapon; aggravated unlicensed operation; and a bench warrant. On October 8th the Garrison Commander and Director of DES recognized those Soldiers and Civilians that were instrumental in the rescue of a distressed Soldier who had fled into the Black River. Due to their quick and professional response the event ended in a positive manner with all safe.
