REFLECTING on new ideas explored in 2020 & counting down my top 5 favs! #3 MiXt MaTeRiAlS... As supplies ran low during quarantine, I had to get creative with new materials. I played with wrapping paper, coffee filters, newspaper, magazines, comic books, foraged sticks, wire hangers... my very recycling bin became a source of inspiration! Psyched with these discoveries, I partnered with @hitchli to teach virtual flower making classes with these around the housematerials! It was amazing all that we created together for those first 3 months of weekly classes. T R U S T I’ve been talking a lot about FAITH lately & today's meditation reflected that acting in Faith is one part of a two part process Acting with faith in the self can only go as far as the TRUST you put into your action.... Hear me out When a farmer plants a seed, they have faith in their knowledge & that they have provided the correct conditions for the plant to grow. They trust their actions as the plant roots down & eventually breaks through the soil to show visible growth. The farmer does not pull up the plants to check in on progress- they TRUST. When we act with faith that this big universe has provided all that we need to do all we want, we must trust that we did enough with what we were given.
