Dog Star Grooming

To my cherished clients, both human and canine- I’m sorry to say I’ve had to temporarily close Dog Star Grooming. My parents need me, and I can’t keep them safe without quarantining completely. If we can ever get this Covid beast under control, I may be able to get back to doing some grooming, part-time. It’s impossible to say, at this point. Meanwhile, I’m happy to refer you to someone I trust. I am so grateful to all my clients for your loyalty, and for trusting me to... care for your precious pets. I miss you, and I really miss my dogs! I’ve talked with most of you, and I am deeply grateful for your support and understanding. I’ll keep you posted, if anything changes. Hello, all!! I hope you and your families are staying safe, healthy, and sane! I’m looking forward to when I can reopen, and get back to taking care of my dogs. I miss them, and you!... At this point, it is still not legal for any groomer to be open, and doing so carries hefty fines. More importantly- it is not safe to do so. The health and safety of my clients and dogs is paramount to me, as is that of my own family. It has been proven that the Covid-19 virus can be carried by dogs via their coat and saliva. Meanwhile, keep brushing! Maintenance tips are below, and you can always contact me if needed. If nails need to be clipped, and you can’t do them, veterinarians are allowed to do necessary treatment. You can call your vet and tell them that the length of your dog’s nails is causing discomfort, and/or causing them to slip. It’s likely, at this point... If they can schedule you, they will probably pick up your dog from your car, as I was doing before I had to close. I will let everyone know, as soon as it is safe and legal to reopen.
