2020 has been tough, especially for our transgender and gender non-conforming community. But this Transgender Day Of Remembrance, let’s remember all the beautiful and powerful trans people we lost this year who once lit up the world. Intersex Remembrance Day first began in 2005 as a way to raise awareness about the human right issues faced by the intersex community. The fight has come a long way, but there is still a lot of work ahead to end dangerous societal stigmas and medical practices.
