The enormous amount of sym...pathy we wish to extend to the family of Earl will not even come close to the legacy he leaves behind. Earl Loder was appointed the Disaster Coordinator of the Town of Cheektowaga in 1981 and served this position with distinction for the next 39 years. After asssisting his community as a Volunteer Firefighter, Volunteer Fire Chief and Fire Commissioner he took on the task of developing a new position to help serve the public during hazardous materials spills, winter storms, tornados, train derailments, floods, and many other emergencies. He was well known throughout Western New York and the State as one of the leading authorities in Emergency Management. Loved by some and respected by many, he will be missed for his commitment to keeping the Town of Cheektowaga Always Ready.
