CONGRATULATIONS CLASS of 2020 We are so very proud of you all!
Black Lives Matter. Let us say this loud and clear: Black Lives Matter.... Our alumni community is proud to stand with all the communities involved in peaceful protests. It is a moment for us to continue to reflect on our actions. We must stand up together. We must be present. We must show up for justice every day. It is our responsibility. This is about what is right. We did not get here overnight. For generations we have seen, and continue to see, unfair treatment and inequality disproportionately impacting people of color. Education plays a key role from learning our past to teaching understanding. Every person, no matter the color of their skin, deserves a place to be heard and learn. If education has taught us anything it’s to listen. Listen to the fear. Listen to the anger. Listen to the pain. Listen to the needs. Ask questions and learn. We are listening and we are learning. In Solidarity, Benjamin N. Cardozo High School Alumni Association
