Dr. Gary F. Marrone, OD

The Marrone Family and the entire staff at See Sharp Eyewear wish to express our deepest gratitude, adoration, and appreciation to all who supported us during this most recent time of need. We were overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and understanding that was shown. Dr. Marrone was very passionate about his work and was living his dream every time he walked through the door. We will do our very best to continue to see his patients with the same level of commitment and dedication as he did.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, that we pass along the news that we have lost the most important member of our See Sharp Eyewear family. Dr. Gary Marrone passed away on Friday, December 6th after a brief illness. Dr. Marrone touched the lives of so many people over the years, and he will be greatly missed. Calling hours are set for Monday, December 9, 4-7PM at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main St., North Syracuse. Please feel free to share your favorite memories of Dr. Marrone with us here.

On Monday, September 9th, Dr. Marrone, Reggie Grandjean, Nick Beiter, and Mike Kowalski participated in the 17th Annual FORESIGHT Golf Classic. The outing was to benefit AURORA of Central New York, a not-for-profit organization with a 90+ year history of serving individuals of all ages who are blind, visually impaired, Deaf, hard-of-hearing, late deafened and deaf blind. The event was a great success even though Dr. Marrone's foursome didn't finish in the top!
