These last few months have been an exceptionally trying time for all of us professionally as well as personally. We at NY/NJCRD hope that your families are in good health. As we prepare to resume our normal practice routine, we felt it important to make you aware of significant changes we have made in order to provide a heightened level of safety for our patients and office staff. We are making every attempt to have only one patient at a time in our waiting area. Patients a...re asked to bring only one family member or guest to accompany them if necessary. This will ensure minimal interaction with other patients. Facemasks will be required to be worn by all who enter the office. Upon arrival the patient (and guest) will have a temperature check as well as a brief medical history review to insure there are no apparent symptoms of Covid-19. Hand Sanitizers are present for use in the waiting room as well as throughout the office. We have always managed the highest level of infection control in our offices. All surfaces are continually sanitized through the day to insure the highest level of safety. Appropriate changes have been made to our schedule to allow for ample time to alternate rooms for sanitization. As we enter this new phase of our Practice we will continue to monitor and implement changes recommended by the American Dental Association as well as the CDC and OSHA to improve our ability to provide a safe environment for our patients and ourselves.

In light of the evolving situation and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice until further notice. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in the CDC's guidance of social separation. If you or a loved one had an appointment scheduled with us prior to this date please disregard that appointment. Our office WILL be open in the event of a dental emergency. Should you require emergency dental care, please call our office as you normally would and one of our doctors will get in touch with you to address your needs. A great deal of care, research, and planning guides our decisions. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is safe for us to return to our normal business hours.
