It is particularly important for one to feel connected with and deeply understood by the psychologist that they choose. My approach to therapy is welcoming, empathetic, collaborative, and draws upon years of experience gained working in outpatient settings and schools. I have extensive experience and training using cognitive-behavioral techniques in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have specialized training in crisis-intervention, individual therapy, family therapy, play-therapy, and in conducting assessments. I utilize evidence-based interventions supported by the latest research in my approach to treatment. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter approach to treatment. I individualize the therapy for everyone that I work with, taking into account the individual’s wants and needs.
