You know that what you eat is foundational to feeling good and living well. But sometimes it's not really clear what foods are the basis of a healthy diet and which ones aren't. Is bacon really going to give you cancer? Will eggs make your cholesterol worse? Should you go gluten-free? If you want some clarity about what you should (and shouldn't) be eating for better health, please check out my free report "Health food or Hype: 7 UNHealth foods to ditch to lose weight and feel great." It's my free gift to you for signing up for my email newsletter. And by signing up, I'll be able to continue to share with you important, timely tips for eating and living well. Women- check this out! Yes, red wine has polyphenols and such in it, but those are chemicals classes that are in MANY types of plants- from the veggies you eat, to culinary spices and many herbs as well. You don't have to drink red wine to get the benefits of those compounds, and the alcohol is possibly doing more harm than good. 15% of breast cancer cases may be attributed to alcohol use.

The claims that a standing desk is better for you than sitting are.... thin and it depends on how you define "better." The truth is that reality defies a quick & simple soundbite. The truth is rather inconvenient in fact: humans are not designed to be chained to a desk all day- whether they sit at or stand at it. We are designed to move & roam; to be in many different positions throughout the day. But how do you design that into a desk? Or even a job?
