I is for Inflammation! Inflammation within the root, or around the end of the root, is what causes that terrible tooth pain! Root Canal Therapy relieves the pressure inside the tooth which results in almost immediate pain relief!

H is for HEALING! After successful root canal therapy, the cause of the tooth infection is gone. Your body now has a chance to heal, the pain is gone, the bone can grow back and your tooth should feel the same as it did before.

G is for Gutta Percha, the naturally derived rubber plant based material we use to fill the root canal.

F is for Fracture! Several things can cause a tooth to fracture, but what determines if the tooth can be saved is how deep the fracture is. Often fractures cannot be seen on an x-ray, they are diagnosed by their symptoms (pain on biting etc) and can usually be confirmed under a microscope.
