The conversation about boundaries and consent should be revisited regularly. Individuals should be aware of the fact that they can say "no" if they do not want to participate in a given activity, sexual or otherwise.

Sex positive parenting starts as soon as children are born. During the early years, it is important to teach naming the correct body parts to protect them from harm and normalize this language. Normalize masturbation but explain this is done in private.... Explain pregnancy and use real life examples if possible. Be body positive and normalize nudity when appropriate.
