We had the good fortune of being able to treat a wonderful man who was quickly becoming paralyzed with a condition known as cauda equine syndrome. He and his wife were referred to us from out-of-state for consultation and we all quickly realized he had an emergency neurosurgical condition. He was taken to the operating room immediately for surgery on his spine, and he was home the very next day. We are grateful that he is showing such a remarkable recovery already, and he is walking and pain free.
