Barbotage procedure for calcific tendinitis of the shoulder. First picture is before the procedure. Patient had severe shoulder pain from a symptomatic calcium deposit within the supraspinatus tendon. Second picture is 6 weeks following procedure. Patient is pain free and the calcium deposit has decreased in size significantly.
