Happy New Year everyone Likely most people aren't raging hard this year but if you do chose to imbibe with a little alcohol on New Years Eve here are some tips to help soften that New Years Day hangover: 1-Water-2 glasses for every one of an alcoholic drink. Add a pinch of sea salt for added electrolytes. ... 2-Food-Eating on a full stomach helps slow alcohol absorption. 3-Activated Charcoal-Helps bind up toxins and slow absorption in the gut. 4-NAC-Precursor to the liver's main antioxidant enzyme-Glutathione. 5-GABA-One of the body's main feel good neurotransmitters. Drinking can deplete GABA. *Always drink in moderation and responsibly* I hope you all have a wonderful, healthy and safe end of 2020 and wishing you all the best in happiness, health, wealth, love and joy for 2021. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Hey everyone, I'm very excited to announce the launch of a new project I've been working on for the past several months with company founder Dr Josh Trutt MD-The Curos Nutri-Therapy Health Report. What is the Curos Nutri-Therapy Health Report? The report is the most comprehensive DNA analysis on the market that gives you practical, actionable supplement, diet and lifestyle recommendations in 12 major categories of health and wellness. ... How dose the report differ from other similar reports on the market? The Nutri-therapy Health report is the only evaluation on the market that combines your raw DNA SNP data with an epigenetic health questionnaire and individual blood work values to give you precise and detailed wellness recommendations based on the latest most up to date clinical research. How well do you detoxify? Should you take methylated vitamins? Is it safe for you to take Bioidentical hormones? What's your ideal diet? Should you grill your meat? Do you make a good vegan? What types of supplements work best for you? What's your ideal exercise regiment? Does non-organic affect your body more than others?... All these questions and many more are answered in this comprehensive report. For more information click on the link in my bio. www.getcuros.com/report See more

There are many forms of insomnia but the two most common are trouble falling asleep and trouble staying asleep. It's important to have your insomnia evaluated since certain chronic underlying conditions should be ruled out (ex: sleep apnea, BPH, certain pharmaceuticals, Parkinson's, RLS, GERD, hyperthyroid, cancer, diabetes and heart disease, etc). For those with trouble falling asleep overactive adrenals with persistently elevated adrenaline and cortisol as well as low mel...atonin levels due to poor sleep hygiene are very common causes we docs see clinically. For those with difficulty staying alseep low GABA levels (the main calm down hormone of the brain) may be to blame. The following chart contains suggestions on individual herbs and nutrients you can. Please consult with your doctor before starting any new supplement regiment. Follow @dr_markiwanicki for natural medicine hot tips See more

The adrenal glands are your main stress responders. They pump us full of stress hormones and get us ready for action. They also don't discriminate from physical or perceived mental stress. Some of my favorite things happen to physically stress the adrenal glands: Strenuous exercise, sauna, cold showers, coffee, fasting, chocolate. These things are amazing and have powerful health benefits to the body in general, they also happen to be very taxing on the adrenals. Being k...ind to yourself and giving your adrenals a much needed break from time to time can do wonders for building back your reserves and improving your vitality long term. Vitamin D is so critical for our immune health. More and more studies are showing how important maintaining adequate levels of vitamin D are for ensuring the strength of our immune system. In addition to optimizing immunity vitamin D also increases circulating calcium levels. Too much calcium circulating in our blood is not actually a good thing since calcium contributes to the formation of plaques in coronary blood vessels. We want to make sure calcium gets to where it nee...ds to i.e. the bones and teeth.....Enter vitamin K2. A cousin of vitamin K1 (found in leafy greens and helps with blood coagulation) vitamin K2 helps move calcium out of circulation and into bones and teeth where it acts as the main mineral support architecture. If you are supplementing with a vitamin D3 it's important you take it with a K2 in order to support healthy teeth and bones and also support your cardiovascular health. The doctors at Walter Reed hospital pumped President Trump with a great cocktail of medications since he recovered so quickly. His cocktail included: an antibody drug, an antiviral, a steroid anti-inflammatory, an H2 blocker, an anticoagulant, vitamin D, zinc and melatonin. There are natural analogs to all of the medications (except the monoclonal antibodies which are spike protein specific). Of particular interest to us natural medicine docs are herbs that are anti infla...mmatory, antiviral and anticoagulants. What is also interesting is that President Trump received melatonin, zinc and vitamin D but these substances are barely mentioned by the media. In fact if you do mention them you will more than likely be criticized for promoting "unproven" remedies. Follow @dr_markiwanicki for the most up to date natural medicine hot tips.
