We are up and running now for about two months. It has been a challenge with all the new protocols and gear that we need to use. I have to hand it to my staff. They have been awesome adjusting to the new normal. As Florence says, we look like Umpa Lumpas from the Chocolate Factory. It is hot and difficult to work in all this gear but we are making it happen!! I want to thank all of our patients for helping us follow all the protocols by calling before they come in, waiting... in their cars till we give them the green light to come in and putting up with all the questions Barbara asks before coming in for treatment. It is strange having our patients walk out after treatment without stopping at the front desk. Barbara follows up with phone calls to schedule the next appointment and settle all insurance and finances. Thank you all for your cooperation. We do this to keep social distancing and limit the amount of time patients have to stay in the office. I’d need to thank Dr. Natalia Ratmiroff, a stellar resident of mine at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Romanoff has been coming in and helping out with treating patients. I worked very closely with Natalia during her residency. She has the same care, concern and commitment to excellence that we all have. She is here on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and an occasional Saturday. As we have not seen patients in over 3 months you can imagine how we appreciate her help. Great to be back helping those in need!!

We are finally back!! This week we are trying to catch up on emergencies that had to be put off over the last couple of months. Next week we will continue with emergencies but also start with hygiene to get those teeth looking and feeling great again!. Feel free to give us a call.

Took the Ferry from Rockaway to Wall Street yesterday with my wife Judy. The city is deserted but still magnificent. It will once again be full of life. Just as the Merchant Marines lend a helping hand in this monument, we must lend a hand to each other to get through this. Once again we will all "look forward to going back to see us here at the office"!! Stay Safe everyone. Miss you all. (This post dedicated to my long last friend and camping buddy from Upsala College. I heard that the "Jolly Woodsman" was taken by COVID -19 during our quiet but peaceful stroll through the City. Rest in Peace.)
