Lent begins tomorrow! Many of you probably have your own way of celebrating Lent and have a program or devotional to work from. If not, here are a few suggestions which are all very good and will enrich your Lenten season should you participate.... Of course, there are many more which you can find with a little investigating, not to mention your own parish offerings. Chris Stephanick at reallifecatholic.com is offering a lenten program which is free to sign up for. You can connect directly and receive the daily messages directly into your mailbox. The following 2 programs were brought to my attention by our own Deacon Marty who will also be holding a discussion class on the program "Parousia" offered by Dr. Scott Hahn. Led by the Spirit hosted by Dr. Tim Gray. You can find this program of daily reflections on formed.org/lent. If you are not registered on this site, you can do so through your own parish by going to http://signup.formed.org and enter your parish's zip code or name. Our weekly offerings continue at St. Joseph's Prayer Center much as they were at the end of last year. Join us for one or all of these events as your schedule allows. Here is our upcoming week, please join us: Cenacle Prayer for Priests - Monday morning at 11a.m. in the chapel - recite 2 decades of the rosary and read from Fr. Gobbi's book of messages from Our Lady. We intercede for all the priests in our diocese naming them during our rosary recitation. Adoration -Tuesday from 1-5p.m. in the chapel. Please come and spend a little time with Jesus. Divine Will Prayer Group - studies the writings of Luisa Piccareta and meets on Thursday mornings by Zoom. Call or e-mail for more information. Prayer ministry- our prayer teams are happy to carry on this ministry by conference call or in person. Please contact us for an appointment. We will be glad to pray with you.
