Covid-19 and the impact on physician practices was the topic of the Dutchess County Medical Society's December 2020 zoom meeting. We had a capacity turnout for our COVID Healthcare Heroes and Lyme Panel today at Bowdoin Park. It was an honor to have New York State Senator Sue Serino and Dutchess County Deputy Health Commissioner Catherine Tegtmeier present certificates of recognition to our Honorees who went the extra mile during this Covid crisis. Nuvance Health’s Vassar Brothers Medical Center introduced Dr Timothy Collins and Denise Quirk-Hall NP. Dr Keith Festa, Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital introduced Dr Daniella Stokes, Dr Maqbool Murtuza, and Dr Zubair Khan. Lyme panelists included Dr Daniella Stokes, Dr Joshua Ginsberg, President of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, Dr Richard Horowitz of Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center, and New York State Senator Sue Serino.
