Today is National Nurses Day. Thank you to those who have dedicated their careers helping others. Most of these lifesavers have been working miracles for the victims of Covid-19 during the past several weeks. And lets not forget it's also the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. Thanks again to all surviving Veterans of WWII for their service.

We would like to extend our sympathies to the families of those fallen from Covid-19 during these past few weeks. A special honor goes to the Veterans who as residents of nursing homes have been affected. We remind our donors and supporters to remember to respect the six feet social distance practices. We also ask that at this time, no donations be made either directly to all Vet facilities or through DVDs4Vets. We will release information when it is safe to continue. Thank you

A quick visit to the West Palm Beach VAMC to deliver a donation of 300 DVDs and Blu-rays courtesy of HBO. Brian Corey, acting Director of Voluntary Services and Ivonne Ciano accepted their latest donation on behalf of local Veterans.

Today we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice at Pearl Harbor. We thank those survivors who proudly served our nation during a most challenging time of our history.

On this Veterans Day holiday, we thank our Veterans for the service and sacrifice they have all made. From the Greatest Generation which fought the Nazis to those who stood guard keeping Berlin and Western Europe free until the Wall came down and all who have served since. We thank you.
