Dynamite Hill Recreation Area

Weekend Update 1/2/2021 Rope tow is still not ready to run yet! We need a good foot of snow to run. The warming hut is open! Ice skating rink is also open as well! HILL IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR SLEDDING & TUBING! NO RENTALS!! You can ski but you would have to walk up! Fresh snow ENJOY IT!!

UPDATE 12/29: Hoping to have the snow maker up and running again shortly! Ski tow rope can not run until there is at least a foot of snow on the ground. Warming hut is not open just yet. There is a small patch of snow that can be used to sled!! ICE SKATING RINK IS OPEN!! NO RENTALS!!

UPDATE: With the rain from the other day there is not much snow left on Dynamite Hill. We are hoping to get the snowmaker back up and running! There is a small patch of snow that some people are using to sled! Hoping to have some snow these next couple of days!

Beautiful day on Dynamite Hill!! Stop on by to enjoy some sledding! Warming hut/rope row will not be open until after Christmas!! Dress warm, be safe and have fun!!

GOOD NEWS THE SNOW MAKER IS RUNNING!! Dynamite Hill is set to open the day after Christmas! The hill will be open the week school is closed. Hours: 10AM-3PM!! NO NIGHT HOURS!! ... There are no ski, sled, or ice skate rentals! You have to bring all your own equipment! Hill is always open for sledding (at your own risk) Looking forward to a great year on Dynamite Hill!
